Polish-Slovak language course in Zakopane

From the 5th to the 7th of March a Polish-Slovak language course took place in “Geovita” Training and Recreation Centre in Zakopane. The course was a part of the project calledPolish and Slovak teenagers and teachers cooperation preserving the cultural values of the borderland regions”.

The participants of the course were the teachers of the two schools taking part in the project, that is Leonard Stockel Gimnazjum in Bardejov and Gimnazjum in Muszyna. The teachers participated in workshops in two language groups and also in outdoor classes where they could use the acquired knowledge practically.

Besides the course there were other attractions, such as a bonfire supper with a regional highlander folk band, a walk in the mountains with a tour guide and a visit to an AquaPark. These helped the teachers to get to know each other better, share their work experience and ideas as well as to practice their communication skills.

The programme of the course was implemented completely and its participants, apart from the acquired knowledge, are going to remember their newly made friendships the nice and warm atmosphere of their stay in Zakopane for long.
